The original image was a sepia (brown tones) snapshot, about 4" x 6". It was a European photo from the 20's. This guy needed a little bit of everything! The original was seriously worn, scratched, faded, and it appeared that it was probably not a great photo even when new. We rebuilt him piece by piece, even borrowing bits of clothing and body parts from a few other photos! When we finished with the gentleman, it seemed that he needed a new setting in which to show off his newly found statesmanship, so we put him in a new parlor, with a European tapestry and Victorian chair. We sure hope he likes his new home! This was a very time consuming project! This project cost about $85 plus the cost of printing and framing, but he now hangs proudly on the wall!
