The original in this case was a small 3" x 5" photo that was scratched, cracked, dirty, faded, and had significant color deterioration. We scanned the original photo at super high resolution, to gather as much detail as possible. We healed the surface, worked our magic on tones, hues, etc., and came up with a beautiful high resolution portrait of this young lady. We were able to get very nice resolution out of this image, so we printed a sharp 16" x 20" portrait, and the results speak for themselves! Keep in mind that the image you see here on the web is a low resolution representation of the real portrait. The file size of a high resolution image is much too large for practical web use, so the actual image is much more detailed than the one you see here. This project cost about $40 plus the cost of printing and framing.
