To Color or Not to Color
At the risk of stating the obvious, there is probably nothing that makes more difference in the look of an old photo than colorization. That is not to say that all old photos look better in color. Quite the contrary! Many Black & White, or Sepia prints look much more stately and elegant than they could possibly look in color. But there are cases where color is a wonderful addition, when colorized correctly and tastefully.

The secret is having a feel for which photos should be colorized, and which ones will look their best by enhancing them in their original format. That's where you can rely on some input from our artistic staff. As you can see by looking around on this site, we can improve nearly any photo, regardless of color. If you print will be best displayed in color, we will very professionally colorize it. If your print will be best presented in Sepia, or B/W, we'll offer you that opinion.
